Getting started
How do I get started?
Book a 60-minute demo. We'll show you live characters, review the spec, and map a deployment (or a pilot) to your space.
What is Zigg.ai?
A live, photorealistic conversational AI avatar housed in a physical transparent-display unit. Visitors talk to it; it answers in real time. It's delivered and supported by GroundCtrl, with the avatar layer powered by Anam.
How is it different from a hologram video display?
Most “holographic” displays play pre-recorded or looping content - impressive to look at, but they can't respond. Zigg.ai is a real-time conversation: visitors ask questions and get grounded answers, face to face.
Characters & content
Can I choose from existing characters?
Yes - we have pre-built personas ready to deploy, and the library grows over time.
Can you create a custom character?
Absolutely - historical figures, brand ambassadors, mascots, or an executive digital twin. We agree the persona, source material and boundaries, then build and review it with you.
What languages are supported?
5+ at launch, scalable to 50+ via Anam, with native voices and accents.
How accurate and grounded are the answers?
Characters draw on approved documents and verified sources, and stay within boundaries you set. For historical figures, content is curated from credible academic and cultural sources and reviewed with your team.
Rights, ethics & data
Do you need rights to recreate a real person?
Yes. Living individuals or copyrighted likenesses require explicit consent or rights clearance. Public-domain historical figures generally don't, and are handled with respect for the record.
Will it impersonate or mislead people?
No. We won't knowingly build avatars for fraud, impersonation or misinformation, and figures are clearly AI-driven representations.
Is visitor data handled responsibly?
Yes - built on SOC-2 / HIPAA-grade, encrypted infrastructure. Specific data-handling and GDPR position to be confirmed.
Hardware & installation
What does installation need?
A power supply, a stable internet connection, and floor (or counter) space for the unit. GroundCtrl handles delivery, setup and support.
Does it need the internet?
For live conversation, yes. Between visitors it runs a local idle loop with no live session - which also keeps your usage costs down.
Indoor only?
Designed for indoor and controlled environments; the Tall unit is daylight-visible for bright lobbies and galleries.
Cost & deployment
How much does it cost?
Annual leases start from £48,000/year (excl. VAT), all-in. Paid pilots start from £10,000 and are credited back against a lease signed within 30 days. See Pricing.
Why is the pricing a lease, not a purchase?
A lease keeps you on the latest models and features, includes support and maintenance, and avoids the six-figure capital cost (and rapid aging) of a static installation.
How fast can we go live?
As little as 24–72 hours with an in-stock unit and an existing character; 4–8 weeks for a full bespoke build. See How It Works for the full breakdown.
